Here’s an inspiring story for you!
A group of scientists, having unlocked the secrets of cloning, decided to inform God that they had taken over the job of creating life. Confident in their abilities, they told God that His services were no longer necessary. After all, God had created humanity from the dust of the earth, but science could now handle it.
Curious, God responded, “Please explain.”
The scientists proudly announced, “We now know how to create life from dust ourselves.”
God replied, “Alright, show me.”
As the scientists reached down to gather some dirt, God gently interrupted, “No, no… get your own dirt!”
I love this story because it highlights how we sometimes forget the true source of everything—even life itself. We can get caught up in thinking we control everything, but in reality, even our own existence is a gift beyond our making.
For those living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), this story holds special meaning. It’s easy to get lost in the daily struggles and challenges that come with the condition, but it’s important to remember how precious life is. Everything we cherish—our family, our friends, and our own bodies—is a gift on loan from the Universe.
The ability to wake up each day, to see, to hear, to experience the world, is truly remarkable. MS may affect our bodies, but it doesn’t take away the gift of life itself. Every moment, every breath, is a blessing.
Today, let’s walk with gratitude, acknowledging the abundance we have been given. Despite the obstacles MS presents, life remains an extraordinary gift from the one who makes it all possible. Embrace the beauty of today!
